Friday's Hunt with Eden Hills - 10/14/16

Eden Hills

Well hello again. It is Friday ...again...and I told myself I would not wait and be late! But my computer is being flaky again, so it is now Sat...

So Teresa from Eden Hills has challenged us again with: Starts with P, Weeks Favorite and whole.

For starts with P, I went again to my vacation picture...pickens are getting slim...I have some pictures of Planes that we saw on our vacation, they were doing landing exercises over Coronado Beach in CA. Really awesome to watch. Then some toy Planes at the train museum, a Blue Angels jet on display, and a Palace that was outside of the museum.

Then for my favorite of the week, I have a picture of "Pumkin'" a friend of mine with Operation Christmas Child, that was dressed up as a clown. She loves doing it and does an excellent job!

For WHOLE, I was stumped as I looked through my pictures....I was looking for some eating pictures, but didn't really find any I liked so I used this photo of the flowers I did for our church for Oct...I love when fall gets here, the colors just seem to glow!!! Anyway...this is the WHOLE group of flowers.

So here are my offerings for this week. Next week we will have "Q"...woe is me....

Friday's Hunt with Eden Hills - 10/01/2016

Eden Hills

Hello everyone...ahhh yes, if you are reading this it must be FRIDAY again...

This week our fearless leader Teresa at Eden Hill's  challenged us with Starts with N, Weeks Fav and I made this!

Soooo from my vacation pictures...we Starts with N, most of the pictures are of my son, NICHOLAS being silly on vacation. A few other that start with N are thrown in, The red door is for the Dairy Queen, in a town called Nocona, in Texas.

For This Weeks Fav: These pictures I took at the car wash in CA, I guess I could have used it in the M's, but I really liked how the soap suds came out in different colors.

And since you have seen my jewelry, I also design and arrange the flowers at my church, below is one I made for the 4 of July service.

So here is my offering for this week. For more great shots, head over to Teresa at Eden Hill's.

Til next time
Keep on Snapping!

Pine Ridge Treasures' Favorite Things Blog Hop

Hello everyone. It is time for another challenge from Lisa Lodge at A Grateful Artist.

For this challenge, this is what I received in the mail:

The sea glass beads here in the bottom left corner are very dark blue, not black, as are the stand of sea glass beads with the strands.

A couple of things jumped out at me and my muse was moving me right along with one piece...but...I don't think my muse had thought it through...I am going to have to take this one apart and rethink it. But I took a picture so that you could see where I was going..

I think I was trying to do a net stitch??? But I will have to go back and redo this one.

Up next is a necklace and earring set I created using some of my challenge beads and some I had on hand.

The blue spotted beads I got from a blow out sale at Fire Mountain Gems last year and I just happened to find them when looking through my blue beads..I think they go quite nicely.

Next I found a pattern by Deborah Roberti at www.AroundTheBeadingTable.com It is called Crystal Picot Bracelet.  I really liked it, but once I got going, the sea glass beads and the glass green, aqua and white made it really heavy. So I opted to only do five sections.

Not really sure about this one either...I think the weight of the beads would lend better to a necklace.

Then I created a couple of sets of earrings.

The little "water drops" beside the fish are a very very light blue. But they reminded me of water drops and fish need water.

Here I used some of the blue sea glass to accent the silver and crystal charms. Again, the crystal is really light blue.

So here is my offering for this challenge.

For more wonderful eye candy hop over to Lisa's page and see what the other designers created.

Till next time...

Keep on Beading!
